OK, now forget all about that. These days Ratzenberger (a/k/a Ratz…Hey, it’s on the website, honest!) is on a mission to honor and profile the people and companies still manufacturing here in the USA. His show is aired on Travel Channel and is called, appropriately enough, “Made in America”.
Ratzenberger profiled us in 2004. I can’t find the video online (…yet…), but I did just come across the next best thing: the Vermont Teddy Bear page on the “Made in America” site.
As Ratzenberger says in the “About the Show” page, “At the end of the day when workers exit a factory, there should be an audience waiting to give them applause and tell them ‘job well done.’”
Talk about teaching by showing. Thanks to Ratz for showing us what Be Bear is all about.
