Hitting the Slopes in Vermont

By Brittany | November 28, 2011

Hey Vermont, what’s up with this warm weather? Skier and Snowboarder Bears want to hit the slopes!

We seem to be having a late ski and snowboard season this year. First, Vermont misses out on that huge snowstorm that cancelled Halloween for those poor kids just south of us. Then, we finally get some snow, but it all melts away due to recent rises in temperature. Today you don’t even need to wear a jacket outside! Should we break out the swim suits again?

If you like to ski or snowboard in Vermont, just as Skier and Snowboarder Bears do, you’re probably very anxious to get back on the mountains. We’ve listed the statuses of all the mountains in Vermont for your convenience (with some help from Ski Vermont):

Already open:
Jay Peak Resort: Open

Now break out those skis and boards and get out on those mountains! Oh, and please bring Skier Bear or Snowboarder Bear with you—they won’t stop nagging and complaining about this warm weather!
